Nissan has been bragging the Nissan Leaf off lately and the fact that they are going to upgrade the engine to offer more range. However this hasn’t happened yet and we are still waiting. Meanwhile the rivals have been working hard and the 2017 Volkswagen e-Golf may put the Leaf in the shade.

Volkswagen has announced their electric range and among them is the 2017 Volkswagen e-Golf. The vehicle is said to be offering a range of 125 miles and the engine delivers 134 horses instead of the previous 115 horses. This will take the e-Golf from standstill to 60mph in just 10 seconds.

The Chevrolet Bolt is still the leader of course, but the e-Golf does offer up a lot more than the Nissan Leaf. At the moment the Leaf offers a range of 107mph.
